One address for everything: support@cortexlist.com
We read everything that arrives there. Below is what’s most useful to include, so we can act on it rather than write back asking questions.
Corrections and outdated pricing
The most valuable email you can send us. Every list carries a “last reviewed” date, and between reviews things change — a tier gets renamed, a free plan quietly disappears, a price goes up.
Include the page, the tool, and what’s actually true now. A link to the vendor’s current pricing page is enough. We’ll correct it and update the review date on that post.
Getting your tool considered
You’re welcome to tell us about your product, and we do read these. Two things worth knowing before you write:
We can’t sell a place on a list, so there’s no rate card to ask for. And our lists are built around a job — “for copywriters”, “for video editors” — so the useful pitch isn’t a feature tour. It’s a straight answer to which specific job is your tool the best choice for, and who should not buy it. Vendors who answer the second half honestly get taken considerably more seriously.
Public pricing helps too. We publish prices, and a tool that only reveals cost after a sales call is difficult for us to recommend to a freelancer.
Disagreeing with a ranking
Also welcome, and not the same thing as a correction. If you think a pick is wrong, the argument that moves us is about the job: who the reader is, what they’re actually trying to do, and why our ordering fails them. We publish our reasoning specifically so it can be argued with.
Press, partnerships, and everything else
Same address. Say what you need and by when.
Response times
We’re small. Corrections get handled fastest because they affect readers directly — usually within a couple of business days. Everything else may take longer, and we don’t reply to every pitch, though we do read them.
